Steelcorp provided a tailored design and construction solution, incorporating a strategic redesign that integrated the office space within the warehouse itself by adding a mezzanine. This innovative approach not only streamlined operations but also significantly reduced costs for Komatsu. </p><br><p class="rteBlock">The new warehouse offers ample space for parts storage, addressing previous challenges where parts were either sourced from distant branches or stored in less-than-ideal conditions on-site. <p class="rteBlock">Steelcorp&#x27;s scope encompassed a comprehensive range of construction elements, including the installation of concrete slabs and footings, steel framework, and cladding for both the roof and walls. </p><br><p class="rteBlock">Additionally, Steelcorp integrated roller shutters and a rainwater tank into the design. The project featured a mezzanine with a custom frame and flooring, complemented by a balustrade and stairs. Glazing and insulation were applied to enhance building performance, while skylights were installed to ensure optimal natural light within the facility.</p>
