Colorbond Colours for Commercial and Industrial Buildings

You’re thinking about your new commercial steel building and sorting through all the design features in your head. It needs to be practical, spacious and future-proof to grow with you. You’re imagining it finished, ready for business, and thinking about all the processes and decisions you’ll have to go through to get there.

There’s another question that usually pops up during this ‘dreaming and discovery’ stage – what colour should your structure be?

It seems like a simple decision but you’re going to have to live with your structure for a long time, so it’s worth spending some time choosing the right colour.

COLORBOND® Colours Available from Steelcorp

IN BRIEF

  • We can source COLORBOND® roof and wall sheeting in all colours.
  • Many neutral COLORBOND® colours work well as a complement to your logo or corporate colours.
  • See below for the COLORBOND® colour chart.

First up, it’s good to know that we’re a proudly Australian Made company and as such, we use iconic Aussie COLORBOND® steel for our wall, roof and awning components.

This means that you’ve got access to a wide range of standard colours that will coordinate well with the other structures and existing fences around your building.

Neutral COLORBOND® steel colours also provide a great background for your company signage and logos.

Can You Match My Shed to My Corporate Colours?

We don’t recommend or supply custom-painted steel due to its reduced resistance to corrosion, however, every project we’ve worked on has been able to achieve a great result using neutral COLORBOND® colours that complement each business’s signage, rather than exactly matching it.

For example, a dark charcoal background can make bright corporate signage stand out, or you might prefer to choose a pale background if your brand or logo uses dark colours.

As part of our design process, we create life-like digital renders of your building design, so we can apply logos and signage at this early stage of the process so you can envisage exactly how your finished structure will look.

"At Steelcorp, we design structures using a range of contemporary and classic COLORBOND® colours, from neutral charcoal greys and nature-inspired surfmist to classic heritage colours like cottage green."
